Prof. Salah BENABDALLAH is currently a Full Professor of Business Computing (Business Informatics) at Tunis business School, University of Tunis, Tunisia, Director of Research Laboratory Business Analytics and Decision Making (BADEM), and initiator and coordinator of the double bachelor degree program between Tunis Business School and Faculty of International Business, Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, Heilbronn, Germany

He is the Founding Dean of Tunis Business School (2010-2017).

In 1990, Dr. Benabdallah started his professional career as an Assistant Professor at Purdue University. He then got appointed as the Head of Decision Support Systems Department at IRSIT, a R&D center in Computer Science and Telecommunications, in Tunis, TUNSIA. In 1997, he became the Executive Director General of IRSIT. In 1998, IRSIT was transformed into an IT company, IRSIT Inc. Dr. Benabdallah became the Founder and the CEO of the company. In 2001, Dr. Benabdallah joined the National Digital Certification Agency (ANCE) in Tunisia. In 2002, Dr. Benabdallah has joined SUP’COM (Ecole Supérieure des Communications de Tunis [School of Engineering in Communications]) to work in academia to use his industrial experiences in teaching and developing research and development projects. From August 2004 to September 2010, he got appointed as the Director of ISET’COM (Institut Supérieur des Etudes Technologiques en Communications de Tunis [Institute of Technology in Communications at Tunis]). During his era, ISET’Com moved from a 5 semester technician program to a 6 semester license program following the LMD European education system.

Dr. Benabdallah has been a principal investigator of a number of national, European, and international projects. He has also been evaluator of many curriculum projects and served in many research and innovation related committees at the national and international levels.
